Come Away 2020
The way this film has elements of themes that I enjoy, but the final execution felt a little bit like it was dragging until the final half hour. I think a much younger me would have found a different appreciation for it as these kind of films always encouraged my everactive imagination. Also, I feel like they leaned more into Peter Pan's lore than they really did with the Alice in Wonderland stuff so I don't think that was well balanced but still a fun story with also some serious themes.

I had to watch this one twice and the David Johnson CARRIED as Andy 🥹 that was art!! Also it was nice to see a younger main cast because that's not very typical of the Alien franchise. I don't know if this movie is really considered an homage to the previous films but it definitely recreated a lot of well-known scenes or plot points that reoccur in the previous ones and it didn't feel overdone. Also the 🥚👶👽 was a sickening visual, thanks.
