Impeccable performances and exciting scenes!!
But the reason we experience that excitement in every scene is because we believe (as viewers) that we are about to discover something.
But the film ends, and there's no such discovery.
Those endings leave me with a bad taste. So (sadly) only ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me (…)

It's not transcendental but it's not boring either.
I's not feminist but it's not uncomfortable either.
It's not a masterpiece but we’re not interested because it’s Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas and Harris Dickinson (three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️)

I have so much to say about this movie:

🍿 Feels like an Instagram or Tik tok video reel but very very long!

🍿 We can’t connect with any of the characters because we don’t know anything about anyone and the scenes between them are very quickly and brief.

A genuine testament to what it meant to be a woman in the 1970s (and also optimistic) 🪄✨✨
I admire the way Agnes Varda touch the topics of abortion, family planning, motherhood, women's independence and a single mother. All in one story, and so well done!

(I also wanted to add one more film to my list of “female directors” ;)

Not wanting my judgment to be influenced by the fact that it's Pedro Almodovar.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 only because I think it could have been a short film (…)

I loved it! Although it seems to have been written and directed by a person at the beginning who quit halfway through the film and someone else had to finish it…
Still: a masterpiece that we need to see! 🙌🏻
