I would recommend this movie to you if you're willing to spend three hours watching American patriotic propaganda and a soap opera mixed together simply because Josh Hartnett is in it dressed in WW2 military uniforms and he looks hot while doing it. As someone who's doing it for this exact reason, I do enjoy myself a lot.
If you're looking for a good romantic movie or an interesting insight into the Pearl Harbor historical event this is not your movie.
