La La Land 2016
Literally whiplash 2.0. Fletcher is in this and has not changed, the movie is surrounded around jazz, same director, they talk about the Charlie Parker “bird” story, and most importantly shows how music is so strong it can tear people apart. The ending is just absolutely brilliant, them both imagining what it would’ve been like if it did work out, fighting against the life they still have for one another but cannot show it. The character development is amazing. Great movie and will probably go on my re watch list.

Best franchise to ever exist. The character choices in this film are fantastic. Billy Loomis’ mom as a killer? Fantastic, she has the great back story and motive to do it. Great film, but not the best in the franchise.
