What a visually, cinematographically, thematically, structurally, and experientially gorgeous movie.
I appreciate when filmmakers give themself the screentime to do the stories they have taken on justice. The length of this movie which allowed time for multiple conflicts and resolutions over the course of the two acts, the performances, and the intermission really made me feel the weight of the years passing. Every minute was used really, really well and intentionally.
