ALIENS SUCK.PS. When Eddy wakes up at the end and Mr Military Man tells Eddy that Venom isn’t coming back, a little boy in the theatre was so upset he said, “shut up!” It was cute and worth a giggle, and frankly I agreed.

I was born in 1990 and somehow managed not to see this movie until I was 30. I consider it both a tragedy and a blessing, because I got to fully appreciate it as an adult watching all the insanity happen for the first time, but it should have been a childhood favorite. How surreal to see the cast listing at the beginning, one name after another; I hadn’t known this movie is made of mostly 90s megastars... and the perfection that is Tom Jones AS HIMSELF?
I’ve never been so pleased with the very end of a movie. Weird as hell. I love it.
