    SO awesome actually. i think it probably helped that i largely missed the hype/controversy of the og movie + don't have any real nostalgia for it. but someone else on here described this series as a direct response to the movie's legacy and the gaps it left/the nuance it didn't capture, which i really dig. THIS story is completely about ramona! she and the other characters get to be three dimensional and odd and sweet, and and the animation is absolutely killer. go watch it!!!
