Possibly one of my top 5 favorites in the entire series. I just have a thing for stories in mortuaries. Maybe because I considered mortuary science as a career when I was in high school. Regardless, it reminds me of a gorier Are You Afraid of the Dark episode and I’m kind of here for it.

Haunting of the Queen Mary 2023
I didn’t hate it. It did seem like it ripped off a lot of other movies and shows. For instance, the kid falls into the abandoned swimming pool and the pool starts to bleed. Uh, hello, Ghost Ship scene much. Parts also remind me of American Horror Story Hotel. Could it have been better? For sure. Could it have been worse? Oh definitely, I’ve definitely seen much worse from Hulu.

Holiday Hell 2019
Admittedly campy and acting is kind of bad. Jeff Combs carries the whole movie and he’s really only the “narrator” at the beginning of each story. I enjoyed it for the stories, though. Looking past the crap acting in a few, it’s written well.

New Chilling Tales: The Anthology 2018
I love anthologies. I have seen my share of good and bad. This particular one is awful though. The acting is terrible and the stories really aren’t original. For instance, the first story is The Monkey’s Paw, which has been done to death (no pun intended).
