  recently read a novel called Annie Bot about a companion android who becomes self-aware. it was fine. subtle. slow. nobody dies in it. not very fun.

  especially on the heels of Annie Bot, this movie FUCKING RULES.

  ugh. i wanted to see this movie and enjoy it, but then writer-director jason lei howden decided to directly harass black women on twitter due to the misguided belief that they were the ones who bullied dilara elbir of much ado about cinema into trying to kill herself. no disrespect to samara weaving and daniel radcliffe, who have both made movies i really enjoy, but given how howden has decided to act i really have no choice, especially since the whole soska sisters debacle i went through last year.

  i'm gonna go watch Crank 2 and Birds of Prey again probably.
