Is it predictable? To me, at least, yeah. Is it enjoyable? Yes yes. Scary? Yes! Great horror film, arguably one of my favorites. I am a sucker for some religious imagery what can I say. I also find all the mental illnesses represented very fascinating. That hour and a half went by fast! I do also enjoy that it’s not that long yet so much happens. Won’t be sleeping tonight! Yeah okay well I really liked it and I think it’s worth the watch 100%.

Ok so the response to the movie was really lame. Reminds me of how people react about like. A Serbian Film and Tusk and stuff like that it’s just kind of annoying. Cinematically I think it’s pretty good. The soundtrack is really great. The acting was really good and I do think it was pretty well written. Very mediocre and overhyped - I really wanted to enjoy it but it felt more like a chore to watch than anything. Getting dressed up in all pink to go see the movie and the community surrounding it was cute. The music is kind of insufferable, the chevy ad in the middle was headache inducing, and the monologue is a very lukewarm feminist take even though it is set up as being far more radical. Does not acknowledge intersectionality at all, even though she is a woman of color. Great for young children, Ryan Gosling did a great job. Just not for me!
