    When I watched this film I was like that's a great film for the late 1950's.
    What I was astonished by is the beginning scene. How did they do this!
    The script is stereotypical of these film noir of the 1950s. With the beautiful icy blond girl, the good looking middle age man and the evil man.

    I think if you want to understand cinema you have to watch what has been done before you so just watch it.

    Oh god this film is just a masterpiece. Everything about this film is fantastic. I could have watch this film for hours on end. I personally love Almodovar but this one just really resonated in me.

    Before watching the film I expected a moving journey of a character. But I didn't expect it to have a uniqueness in the way it's filmed and the use of colours. As you can see on the film poster the colour red is very present in the film. All the transitions from part one - part two fro example is done in red.
