Fifty-five countries retain the death penalty and almost half of the United States does as well.
In 2024, Alabama is trying out new methods of execution.
This film decries capital punishment, racism, xenophobia, classism, ageism, and likely more I'll catch on subsequent watches. It's a jam-packed 97 minutes of brilliant writing that I can't recommend enough.

Watching this for the first time in 2024 is a wild ride. I liked this movie while I was watching it, and loved it after it was finished. Probably won't stop thinking about it for a few months.
