The Hunt 2012
As the audience, we’re given privileged access to the inner world of the main character. This, coupled with the contextual knowledge going into the film that the accusations made against him are false, gives ample reason to believe Lucas. But this is a film about sewing distrust, and would it really be so effective if we the audience were not the least bit in doubt?

The Gunfighter 1950
Incredible. I’ve been on a Western Binge lately, and this was by far the most memorable and influential, aside from ‘The Wild Bunch.’ The story was expertly crafted, and Jimmy Ringo is a brilliantly drawn and complex character, so unique in the brave and proud milieu of the American Western. Gregory Peck also sells the part like water to a thirsty man, and keeps you engaged throughout.
I do definitely believe it was far ahead of its time, and perhaps Henry King’s later film ‘The Bravados’ was better suited to its time, but I think that only further proves his genius.Translated from by -
