There’s a chance I just wasn’t in the right headspace for this one and maybe I’d enjoy it on a second watch.
The dialogue felt like the writer was using a hammer while trying to convince me it was a feather. The moments where the actors were allowed to bring some humanity to the characters was where potential started to shine through, however this was often suffocated by the scripts attempt to turn every conversation into chess tennis (and not in a way that works).
It was an ok movie
