incredibly vulnerable and brave and unexpected. watched the whole series in one sitting, it got crazier with each episode. its basis off the main character's real life is unsettling but through his truth came an honest, empathetic depiction of trauma and abuse (and fair warning there is quite a bit of trauma and abuse). richard gadd deserves critical acclaim and a hug.
