    Wow! I was genuinely impressed—the acting was good, casting, soundtrack…but those racing scenes. My heart was pounding for about half of the movie. I thought it was going to be cheesy, but it very well done. Several stand out scenes (besides the race ones)…my favorite was when Hopper (?, you know who I’m talking about) took him back to the crash scene and challenged him to move through his trauma. Good stuff. The race scenes though…

    Quintessential 80's movie, but it stands head and shoulders above the rest. The acting is incredible given that of the five actors, two were 16 years old, two were 23 and one was 25. None of the CGI, special effects, actions scenes, or sweeping storylines that carry much of today's movies. Director John Hughes simply placed these five actors in a single room (high school library) for 95% of the film. This is a dialogue driven movie that definitely delivers.…
