This 1967 film was slow but well done. The story of Paul Newman's character being raised by native Americans and the racism he face and how the Americans treated the indigenous is definitely ahead of its time.

A Different Man 2024
A different man was like watching 2 different movies. The first half which seems to make sense and introduces great characters. The second half in which Edwards actions make less and less sense and why anyone sticks around him. I believed it when Edward started to go down the rabbit hole but by the end I just found the situation unrealistic.
BTW - I thought Adam Pearson as Oswald what incredible.Translated from by

The Last Picture Show 1971
I finally got around to watching The Last Picture Show after all these years. Amazing movie. This 1971 movie Story is of a small dying Texas town in 1951 with noting to do but drink, have sex and play football
We follow the town over a few years thought the eyes of Seniors from the local high school going in different directions.
Cast is incredible winning several Oscars.
The filming in Black and White was perfect to emphasize the dusty, semi deserted town that is on its last legs
