  Natalie Portman and Julia Roberts carry this film on their backs. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have been anywhere near as invested. Jude Law was kind of a let down, but so was his character’s development. But his character is a let down, so was I meant to be disappointed with Jude Law, as I’m meant to be disappointed with Dan? A good watch nonetheless

  OOFT. Beginning to end, this film is a masterpiece. The star studded cast most certainly doesn’t disappoint. The harrowing details of this families upbringing is perfectly trickled throughout, right up to the full-picture moments at the end. Definitely watching again, once my soul recovers
