Every so often, a film comes along and it grabs you and takes you on a journey and makes you feel things you’ve never felt before.
Babylon did this to me.

I’ve had a very complicated relationship with Soderbergh, but here, he really lets his camera do the talking. This would easily be one of his most stylistic films, almost creating another character within the camera, the way it pans, whips and of course, split diopter (for a brief second).
Definitely the best (and my favourite) Soderbergh film I’ve seen.
Bong makes an absolute masterpiece, one of the best films (probably ever) and is given a blank check to make what turns out to be Mickey 17.
I do feel that Warner Bros have probably fumbled the release of one of the hottest films of 2025.
Robert Pattinson is great, as is Naomi Ackie.
Having now seen the film, there’s a key part of the trailer that I think if removed, would make this a much better film.
