this was my first studio ghibli film and i thought it was cute! it made me realize im not much of an animation watcher but i still appreciated the creative aspects of it. the animation was beautifully done. it didn’t stick out to me and i didn’t think there was anything really special about it but i still enjoyed it

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
i just figured out there was an original twin peaks before this one that i was probably supposed to watch first which could explain why most of this didn’t make sense to me. despite me not understanding what or why some things were happening, i still really enjoyed this film. this was also my first david lynch film which i think was an excellent introduction to his work. IM SO HAPPYYY this movie was definitely not a letdown! This is what the second alien film SHOULD have been. it was an amazing homage to the original one. they followed the same theme but somehow made it non-repetitive and original in its own way. this movie was REALLY well done and had the same scare factor/anxiety inducing feeling as the first one!! this is one of the top movies where i genuinely could not get myself to look away…
