  This is not bad, however I'm not impressed by the fact that there's barely any female perspective, especially considering it's based on a misogynistic massacre. The last 20 minutes weren't enough. Don't think the character of J.F. was necessary at all, and don't even get me started on Valerie telling him it wasn't his fault. Even after a brutal attack women have to appease men for some reason.

  In retrospect I think I judged this too harshly. It is quite charming and the cinematography and the directing is great. That said, Emma Stone did not deserve that Oscar at all. I'm giving it four stars mainly for that final scene.
