  i love billie holiday and am glad i got to hear her sing, but oh boy this documentary was horribly done. it doesn't respect the singer or the journalist who did the interviews (she sadly died before getting them published). we hear her explicitly say that she doesn't want to paint billie holiday as a victim, but then the whole documentary is just that.

  we don't get to hear billie holiday's side but what do get is assorted pimps and…
