Everything you could ask for out of a historical drama. Objectively terrifying disaster that could’ve costed the lives of millions if it weren’t for the sacrifices of a few courageous men.
I really enjoyed the storytelling of the all the events and they did a great job explaining nuclear power and how the explosion happened to a non scientific crowd.
The Soviet Unions corruption and lies ultimately caused this whole travesty to happen and ending up leading to their downfall
“When a man with . 45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true”. This movie met my expectations which were decently high to begin with. The man with no name is up there for all time badass characters. A lot of action with an interesting twist on a dueling family saga.
One of my favorite parts of watching movies from this era is how they portray…
Don’t really have too much to say.
First time watching and had no idea what I was missing. Just a classic comedy that is lots of fun. Only thing that ruined this movie was my dad hopping in half way through and asking me about 50 questions about what was going on.
Idk Dad… Dale just said he was going to dance on her boobies.
Shoutout Chief with the Hitchcock reference
About as high of a rating I could give a comedy
I mean where do I start… To preface I watched this movie on 3 different screens in 3 different sittings and was somehow engaged the whole time. All the hype around Paul Newman was well warranted. The poker scene on the train was brilliant… I wonder if Frig’s political views were brought up at all.
The ending really got me… Almost started to scroll before the reveal. I kept thinking back to when Henry told Hooker that Snyder won’t be a problem anymore - he always has something up his sleeve.
