There are definitely some great moments in this movie, but I came out of it feeling a little disappointed by the end. Poor Things 2023
Wow, what a delightfully fucked up movie! There were so many great things about it, but the highlight clearly is the character of Bella Baxter. She is just so fantastic and has so much soul. She isn’t restricted by social mores, so she simply does what she wants and what she thinks is right at all times regardless of the backlash or consequence she might receive, although that is partly because she often does not understand the consequences. By the end of the film, she has become such a smart and ferociously lovable character. Fantastic movie (I hope it beats Oppenheimer for best picture teehee).
