Another treat seeing another amazing Lynch film on the big screen. Again thoughts on where people laugh. I did wonder if the woman in front of me who was giggling at some odd moments (she had a good little laugh at the dry text card at the beginning about the restoration of the film) was the same one that sat next to me chuckled through The Brutalist last month.

This was great on the big screen and with an audience, both the scale and the energy in the room made it that much more transfixing. It was fun to see what what people laughed at, the hitman and the director in the audition seemed to be the big ones.
Every time I come onto this page I have to see my previous review that I don’t really agree with anymore. Yes you can see the seems, by that final 30/40 minutes is absolutely enchanting curveball on what comes before.
