  This was pretty entertaining! Even though you catch on to who the killer is almost immediately, the suspense comes in other ways, and the action continues to unfold in ways that I didn’t expect. The dialog took me out of it sometimes but overall fun watch

  I really enjoyed this!! From start to finish was a wild ride that transcends genres and mixes in a lot of comedic moments with engaging visuals capped off by a poignant ending. Like Zola meets Uncut Gems.

  A Quiet Place: Day One 2024

  I really like the “Quiet Place” universe, but this chapter didn’t hit as hard because the suspense of how the monsters can be defeated was missing. The original movie was so engaging because of the family story at the center of it, and on top of that, the monsters seemed invincible! The whole time I was wondering “how are they going to get out of this” and really didn’t have an answer. Here, despite a good performance by Lupita Nyongo, it felt like a cheap disaster film version of the original concept.
