The layers upon layers of depth in showing the fragility of the human psyche is beyond compare. The filmmaking and cinematography are truly unequaled to this day leading us on the journey into hell on earth through the profound use of symbolism. Simply put there are very few movies ever made that can equal the master craft of this film.

Oppenheimer 2023
Gonna need to see this again to properly give it a rating. Upon first viewing I thought it was very good, meticulous and well crafted in typical fashion for a Nolan movie. Editing was sharp and creative use of lens and styles. The microscope views of atoms and protons combusting were highly creative.
That being said it just was missing something to make it truly great in my eyes. Right now I think it’s the shortcomings of the story. This complex man whose emotional balance seems quite simple.
