Perfect Blue 1997
A lot to take in after watching this movie, it’s not for the faint hearted. Some parts are very disturbing, I would say it’s a psychological movie as it gives you clues for what’s happening following the main character through the story without getting any clear answers. At the end you can kind of connect all parts. After the movie I had to stop for a while and take in all I just saw.

Princess Mononoke 1997
One of my all time favorites movies of Studio Ghibli, the plot, the meaning, and how the characters are portrayed is amazing. The main character in this movie has also such a powerful point of view. He isn’t necessarily *on* anyone’s side, instead he’s trying to find a way to get everyone to live in peace without sides.

This movie itself can be kind of confusing if you haven’t listened to Melanie’s music, it’s more of a musical or music video compilation explaining the plot/story of her album, K-12. I find the movie itself kind of short, but that could be because it’s more of an album explanation than *movie*. Even so I like it a lot, Melanie isn’t just a singer. She’s an artist, a director, actor, songwriter, dancer and a great inspiration. Her music has helped me and been a huge part of my childhood/early teen years. If you’re into her music or new to it I suggest you watch it.
