After being entirely let down by Napoleon and with a 24-year gap since the original Gladiator (which is straight-up flawless), I didn’t know what to expect from this. But man, was I blown away.
Rome has simply never looked better, and the action? Absolutely brutal in the best way. While the first movie is still untouchable, this sequel is nearly flawless for a reboot two decades later.

Jurassic Park is a timeless classic for a reason. The cinematography, writing, humor, and 80’s/90’s Hollywood gusto that makes the movie so iconic. This pre 2000’s Spielberg run is something of directors dreams.
