I liked this! It was fun, familiar, and hopeful. Didn’t expect subtlety but I guess I expected… to be surprised a little bit? instead this felt like watching a theatrical re-release of a beloved sci fi ive already seen many times and purchased on blu ray. Not necessarily a bad thing, it wasn’t anything groundbreaking is all. Rpat carries the novelty and whimsy here and I suspect will be the only memorable piece.

what the hell, this sucked! what are people enjoying about this? basically nothing about it worked for me. completely rote from the first scene with the partner at the door to the birthday party at the end. I had high hopes because I thought the satanic stuff was going to give way to something more interesting, but there’s really nothing more to it. bummer!
