  What is there to say? The audience is everything it needs to be, and Burnham & Levy's combined work puts this right up there with Aziz Ansari's Right Now as one of the best viewing experiences I've ever gotten from a comedy special. But the technical aspects only highlight the emotional depths that Carmichael is able to reach in 55 short minutes. This set is so raw, honest, and complicated. I could never do what he does here.

  watched this in an icelandic theater and there was… an intermission?

  
  why do we not have an intermission in every single movie it’s so perfect. think about it! gone are the days of having to decide between missing some of the movie or trying to ignore the signals your little mouse bladder are sending you because you went a little too crazy at the concessions’ soda fountain.

  and to be honest it made me realize how much i was really loving the movie! because despite the intermission’s merit i was mad i had to stop watching!
