Too long.
Good things: first sequence, harkonnen characters and world.
Bad things: the whole middle section of the movie I found very uninteresting. Not clear why the movie followed the book almost pedantically in some trivial details, while at the same time being completely off in spirit; an example: Paul’s character was completely not believable as a warlord, both in the acting and the scripting.
