I adore Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. This is my second favorite HP film and I think it’s the third best. Obviously I am one of the few people that has this opinion and this review is my defense of this wonderful film. I also want to make it clear that I am also love the books. - Great opening. I kind of can’t believe they decided to age Andy and have the toys deal with that. The opening sets up the story really well.
- Like the first two, this movie is really tight. Hardly a single scene is superfluous and it’s paced excellently.

- This movie has a good story and a great plot. Just like the first one, the film’s paced great, it’s not overrun with jokes, and mostly everything feels essential.

- The acting is excellent — especially from Martin Sheen.

The most notable things about Rocky in my opinion:
Positive:
- Stallone’s performance is really good. His way of speaking and his mannerisms make Rocky feel real.
- The score is obviously great; it helps make the emotional moments hit.
- The movie sets the stage really well. It really convinces you that these characters have had really disappointing lives and have been hardened. There isn’t any sentimentality when it comes to their suffering.
