Some people might say they phoned it in on 1 1/2. Sure, the songs may just be descriptions of what the characters are doing, but I have been singing “Dig a Tunnel” for 24 hours straight. Also impressively self-reflexive and challenges the concept of sequel. Maybe the best of the Lions King?
Obviously only giving it 1 1/2 stars.
