It was aight. Felt a bit choppy at parts, and lacked depth beyond than the classic Frankenstein framing that felt a little too obvious. In all fairness, it’s difficult to build Trump into a layered, multifaceted character – and the second half (where Trump really becomes the fully formed monster he is) is where the film starts to feel hollow. But the performances made this film — Jeremy Strong is so strong in this.
