  i will never get tired of the losers clubs performances: every single one of them manages to add layers to this story that build a witty, endearing, authentic, and touching film. manages to evoke rib-aching laughter and tearful gasps minutes apart, all while still managing to feel as sincere as it is gripping. it weaves real-world trauma with other-worldly shocks…

  hauntingly beautiful.
  a true representation of visual poetry; ‘f*ck anyone who’s not a seablob’s inventive spirit gives such an intimate and honest viewpoint on queerness, trauma, youth, femininity, & everything inbetween. a film that is, in the truest sense of the word, reflective. it is nearly impossible to not feel seen when watching this, as the exploration of jules character is without a doubt one of the most brilliantly multifaceted characters in cinema.
