This is a wonderful film from the brilliant Questlove. I love Sly and the Family Stone, am always glad to hear the music. But this film delves deeply into the extraordinary influence Sly and his band had on musicians to come, including one of my favorites: Prince.

Gorgeous, moving, just wonderful. Will make you see the absurdity of war in a beautiful way. And deep look at some the war in Ukraine. If you are an artist of any kind you must see this.

Don’t bother, especially if you’ve watched the show a lot. Clever casting, though. Lots of look-a-likes. And I will never complain about NYC scenes.
