  Can you imagine this movie if it took place in 2019? Kids would be too busy hitting their juuls and playing fortnite to ever get lured by this kid.

  This one really surprised me. Almost no wasted time in this whole epic movie. Every subplot is worth what it exposes about the creation of the world we now live in. The explosions of man and machine violence are used to extraordinary effect. The lives of the main characters are so far removed from the people they are affecting that when the consequences of industrialization come to bear in such gruesome ways it almost feels like a completely different world or movie. This one was made with American audiences in mind so it is not hard to recommend.

Following
