  Amazing cast, action-laced with well placed twists…classic late 90s to early 2000s film aesthetic/feel. Satisfying ending with poignant topic of interest, still relevant 22 years later—gun control. Screw the lawyers. Watched with parents.

  I struggled to find the words to write this review. The movie centered around drug addiction. The love of father being put against his son’s drug addiction. Themes: unconditional love, drug addiction, defining progress, the lengths one will go for people you love…the despair and struggle of addiction, the difficulties in understanding or caring for people experiencing it.   Movie with the boys. They don’t make them like they used to. As a comedy, it clears the average 2.5 star threshold, eclipsing “average movie status.” Memorable lines and great physical acting.
