  I watched this once before at 16, about 15 years ago. For some reason I chose to rewatch today on the big screen, 35mm. The entire time I felt sort of okay as I misremembered the ending as being liberating (?!). After the end of the screening I can only hope to repress my memory of this film anew

  Possibly the best of Chan-wook Park's revenge trilogy.

  PS. Everytime I watch a Korean revenge movie I naively think that I 've become immune to the genre, but here I am again unable to sleep and staring at the ceiling
