This film exists in its own subcategory that nothing will ever come close to. And that’s why you watch movies folks

The Alto Knights 2025
This is definitely one of the mob movies of all time. You can tell it was produced directed acted financed and written by old white dudes taking one last grasp at making something substantive. Was clearly Zaslav’s passion project that he pushed to get into theaters. I firmly believe De Niro took this job because he finally got the chance to play his typical mob character and to also play Pesci’s which was a treat to watch. His old ass definitely had a ball on that set. That’s my goat!
