I may upgrade this to 5 stars after i sit more with it. Completely unexpected. A film that proves we need to bring back the three stooges. The last scene will stick with me for a while

I have not stopped thinking about this film since watching it maybe two weeks ago. I dont think i have anything new to say but if you ever wanna have two and a half hours being confused and then two and a half weeks having epiphanies, i highly recommend

The Brutalist 2024
This ultimately did not click for me. I enjoyed the first half. Grown to hate the second half. Loved the acting, set design, and cinematography. Wont hate oscars being given to it. However the writing of the second half got overcooked and… propagandistic? Like i have disillusionment in the american dream too, and i dont mind the story being about the exploitation of immigrants and their talents by american capitalists, but, i guess i’ll need to mark this with spoilers,…
