  Visually looks amazing and the performances are all great. Only mark against it is the non linear storyline can get a tas but confusing. Other then that it's a great film.

  Only knock against this film is that the length could have been trimmed a little. Otherwise it is fantastic. Beautifully shot every frame is damn near perfect. Skarsgard & Taylor-Joy are both great. The final confrontation at the end may be one of the most truly epic scenes in film history.

  Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World 2003

  I have always wanted to get into Peter Weir's catalog and this film was a hell of a start. The performances from Crowe and Bettany we're fantastic. All time bestest friends movie combo. The battle scenes were perfectly shot and made me feel like I was on that ship.

  Sidenote: the scene where doc operators on himself is epic as fuck!
