  I had to watch this film 5 times, write a 3.000 words essay on it and still don’t get how anybody could ever call this film ‘feminist’! Well maybe next time try not having you female lead fall madly in love with her sexual abuser!! And maybe presenting indigenous people as actual people instead of elements of a glamorized ‘exotic’ background is another good idea!
