  Was gonna write a bunch of shit but honestly this was a very frustrating experience and I’d rather not. I find no catharsis in this movie if that’s what it was going for. Also I’m pretty sure I got whiplash from the editing. Booooo *throwing tomatoes* booooo this stinks. Jonah Hill and Chalamet are funny though

  So fucking good. So fucking grim. 

  Wisdom is holding two contradictory truths in our mind, simultaneously. Hope and despair. A life without despair is a life without hope.

  So meditative. So….stark? Gorgeous. This movie is excruciating and uncomfortable and yet it truly felt necessary.

  Also, pepto bismol and whiskey… I am going to have to try that
