  Delete the whole middle of it, then it’s good. Much like GTA 5 itself, there are several tangential storylines that the film goes down in between parts of the main story. Unlike GTA, they aren’t fun. The whole “breaking the fourth wall” thing where the filmmakers speak “candidly” about their lives often feels so forced. It would be much more powerful if there was less of that, and if it was subtler. I’m sure the novelty of this idea is enough…

  I miss when characters in movies didn’t feel like they were annoyed that they were in a movie. There’s a good movie in here if you cut a shit ton of expository montages and dialogue, cut out celeb cameos, and replace Joey king with a British actress. She’s good but her accent is not.
