I really enjoyed this and I absolutely loved the concept!! There were golden comedic moments as well. A beautiful contrast between sentimental, dark comedy, and philosophical. Brad Pitt… you surprised me in this one actually, well done.
Additionally, I must say it was unnecessarily long, many scenes I could imagine it without.
And finally, a moment of appreciation for dads ❤️

I haven’t read the book but I know it was overhyped as well.
This movie presents an important issue, I just don’t think it was executed well or that the story was written in the best way. Felt a bit cheesy.
I also personally felt like there were too many filler scenes.
Despite that, Blake and Justin are phenomenal actors and they have amazing chemistry, which I enjoyed. And I love the poeticism of the title.

I was intrigued throughout most of the movie, but it felt like some mythological ripoff of “Us”. I enjoyed it nonetheless and the twist actually caught me off guard.
