Ogres might have layers, but Shrek is many layers to this film that has stood the test of time. Jokes that to this day I didn’t understand until re-watching. A certified good time.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels 1998
Classic British comedy crime film on shoe string budget. Everything you could ask for. This isn’t Guy Ritchie’s best by far, but absolutely worth a view.

This film is extremely inoffensive. It inherently doesn’t do anything wrong, but it doesn’t do anything good either. Venom looks great but honestly you won’t be missing much if you don’t see it.
Sadly he doesn’t say “It’s Venom time” but the Eminem venom song is also worth watching the entire film for.

Bridget jones was a competent film that has truly ran out of what made the initial films interesting. The comedy is well written and funny, but this film didn’t feel fresh in any means to what they have done since its inception in 2001. With a couple strange decisions to kill a main character off screen (in my opinion) in the most redundant way. But yet still include him in the film. It was a nice evening out with the wife to see. But not something I’d want to see again.
