Although I seem to stand on my own regarding this movie, in my opinion 'Key Largo' is the Bacall/Bogart movie to beat them all. With a superb supporting cast including Edward G Robinson, Claire Trevor and Lionel Barrymore, Key Largo holds it's own from start to finish. A truly Incredible movie and one of Bogey's best. A classic.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre 1948
Treasure of the Sierra Madre has never been my favourite Bogey movie as I don't particularly like some of the characters in the movie, but I do like the situation that the group find themselves in. I still give it four stars as it looks so good and barring the stereotypical Mexican bandidos, it manages to maintain good tension throughout with realism at the fore.

I felt like i had watched a movie where if you felt like throwing an idea 'into…

Le Samouraï 1967
The arty crowd simply love this movie. Why? Good question. Boring yes, faceless, ridiculous. Alain Delon is a clumsy failure of a hitman who walks around in a light coloured raincoat and a fancy hat. He stands out like a 'polar bear' in a coal mine.…
