    Anatomy of a Fall

    ★★★½

I had high expectations getting into Anatomy Of A Fall. They weren't immediately met, but my patience eventually paid off.

It doesn't offer easy answers, but the initial frustration starts to feel intentional—if you're willing to sit with the uncertainty.

It immediately grabs your attention and holds it. The pacing is deliberate—reasonable to me, but it may challenge some.

I can't fully talk about my experience without spoilers, so I will not. All I can say is that, by the end, my engagement was rewarded.

I would recommend watching it with an open mind.

Everybody Rides The Carousel feels more like a Pyschology masterclass than a film if I'm being honest.

I have wanted to watch it for a while, and I'm really glad I made the time to do so.

The animation style is genuinely beautiful.. Wonderfully childish in a way.. The symbolic cute little characters spoke to me in a language I didn't know I…

I’m by no means a member of the American white lower class, or what some might call “White Trash,” but I’ve known people with backgrounds not too different from the ones portrayed here. The poor, the marginalized—these struggles are universal.

The film isn’t nearly as grotesque as I expected, though I can understand where that label comes from. It’s unsettling, but…

    One Cut of the Dead

    ★★★½

One Cut of the Dead played with my mind. I was questioning myself at every turn: Are they serious? Am I being made fun of? I had so many questions, but by the end, they were all answered.

I got to attend a director Q&A after the film, which was a cool bonus. A friend of mine and I were wondering if this is a parody or an homage.. the question was lost in translation, so we were left wondering…
